Hello, there, MJ…
I don’t Twitter much… we came to CR and jumped in with both feet.
We watched a 75 year old Bribri Indian walk by our house with what looked like bags of groceries for his family up on the mountain. Turned out he did his “shopping” in the garbage cans of Puerto Viejo. We opened a Community Kitchen, and we serve about 150 meals a week.
A young Bribri boy didn’t have the money to go to the “free” public school. We put him in school 5 years ago. This year we assisted 27 students in going to 6 schools.
We’ve done 28 microloans - allowing people to build a micro- business
We attended a meeting recently in the interior… talked with a tribal council about getting funding for a medical clinic.
Looks like we’re also gonna build a schoolhouse.
We’ve been brought people to help out of addiction.
We run a Science of Mind Study Group
We’ve been blessed by many volunteers and visitors from all over the world.
We especially enjoy it when visitors show up who live in Costa Rica - it’s great to meet our neighbors!
Visit our website and come on by!
