		<description>Hi there Susan;
Just came across your blog. We have a lot in commom. I also have a handicapped son Clint that has Williams Syndrome.
My son is 35 and still lives with us.
Clint cannot read or write but is an amazing soul. We have learned a lot form each other over the years.
  The other commom thing we have is that Allan and I bought 33 acres just 8 mins. out of Tamarindo in Jan 2005.
It has been quite the journey and in my new blog I am going to start posting some our lessons we have learned.
And the lessons still keep coming.
We started out travelling back and forth to Calgary every few months because of our business here and Clint.
At first we thought that we still would keep a house here in Calgary.
But an interesting thing has happend to the both of us. Maratonga feels like home. I feel like a visitor back in Alberta.
I miss all my animals at the farm in CR. I also miss the exercise I get gardening plus our wonderful staff Elena and Jose who have become like family. And the interesting part, they do not speak any English and yet we know, most of the time what each other is saying.
We are very fortunate to have found Jose and Elena. We do not worry about a thing when we are back in Alberta.
We are seriously thinking about how we can get to CR full time.
As time as gone on we are only realizing how big of a venture we have embarked on.
This will be Al's 5th trip and 3 for me. In May we went to Panama for a week. There was not one area that we saw that we would trade for CR.
Where are you? I really want to connect with women that have the pioneering spirit. I have been some great entrepreunerial women in Costa Rica. The country seems to attract the tough ones.
Our phone number in Costa Rica is 506- 2653-8939. We have an answering machine. We are there again from July 9 to Aug 3. Come by and visit Maratonga if your in the area.
Looking forward to hearing more about your adventures.
