Oops. Maybe I shouldn't have told you. I missed your line about not wanting to know anything more about them. Well, I hope I at least inspired you by telling you of their sweetness. Sorry!

They are muscovy ducks. I love them, and they have great personalities. Unlike my domestic ducks, which can only fly up to 4 feet high, Muscovies fly high, and roost in the trees at night. Although they are considered a wild duck, native to Mexico, many people raise them in a domestic situation. I've known people to raise them for eggs, but they aren't nearly as productive as my Campbells. Many raise them for meat. But it's their personalities that really shine. They are supposed to be really calm and laid-back, and some people talk about their Muscovy pets as if they were dogs rather than half-wild birds. I'm hoping to eventually have a flock of ducks in Costa Rica, and I imagine the Muscovy will be one of the prominent breeds.
